These terms cover the Hemm website and early-access service, operated under the name Hemm Docs, a project based in Ghana that is not yet a registered company. By using Hemm, you agree to these terms. Questions can be sent to hello@hemm.dev.
Using Hemm
Hemm helps teams identify documentation affected by code changes and prepare updates. You must have permission to connect repositories, share their content, and act on behalf of your team. Keep your account secure and tell us if you suspect unauthorised access.
Your content stays yours
You retain your rights in the code, documentation, and other content you provide. You give Hemm permission to process that content and use service providers as needed to deliver the features you request. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions necessary to share it.
Review before applying
AI-generated suggestions can be incomplete or incorrect. Check proposed changes for accuracy, security, and suitability before approving or publishing them. Hemm does not guarantee that it will identify every documentation issue.
Early access
Hemm is in early access. Features may change, availability may be interrupted, and integrations shown as planned may not be available yet. A waitlist entry does not guarantee access or a launch date. Any paid plan will have its pricing and payment terms presented separately.
Acceptable use
Do not use Hemm for unlawful activity, to access content without permission, to compromise another user’s account, or to disrupt the service. Do not submit credentials or content you are not authorised to share.
Privacy and third-party services
Our privacy policy describes how information is handled. Connected services, including GitHub, have their own terms. Their availability and your permissions may affect what Hemm can do.
Stopping use
You can stop using Hemm and revoke its GitHub access at any time. We may restrict access to address abuse, security risks, or breaches of these terms. Contact us about closing an account or handling retained records; disconnecting an integration alone does not delete them.
Availability and responsibility
The early-access service is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any separate written agreement with your team takes precedence where it conflicts with these terms.
